international/ american high schools in Milano

I will be taking my daughter to visit international schools next week as we will be moving over to Milano over summer. At the moment, the American School of Milano sounds good. Can anyone give some advise please? Italian friends of ours say that it does not have a good reputation and that Sir James Henderson is way better. How about the International School of Milano? I am soooo confused!
