A friend has just told me about a shop near termini called International Food store

It has spices and other great bits we might not be able to find in other places!

Apprently there two shops Interntional food and International food store.

The first one is on via Napoleone III to the left, when taking it from piazza vittorio

and the second one is

in via magazzini allo statuto, 20 metres to the left begining from piazza Vittorio.

The second food shop is in Via della Statuto right near the shop called MAS at Piazza Vittorio. Great shop if a little pricey. I got brown sugar there recently and golden syrup (for my porridge). They also have a lot of Asian food and will order things in for you if you're really desperate.

I'd also recommend the Esquilino covered markets right near piazza vittorio (on Via Principe Amedeo - right behind Termini) for things like peanut butter, rolled oat, Indian spices, coconut milk, fresh coriander/cilantro and sour cream (i got mine at the Romanian stall and it's called 'smetana').

I love Piazza Vittorio!

when i first moved here i missed alot of typical foods i used to eat in the UK now its just some things i feel i cant live without and now i have found a lot of them thanks to all this! YAY
