It's been a really long time since my last post but I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to Rome next month and I'm so excited I'm really looking forward to travelling alone the first time of my life. On the other hand I'm a bit scared because you never know what can happen.
I probably shouldnt think about it but when reading about 2 women being robbed I start to think if it was the right decision.
Nevertheless I'm happy

Just make sure your careful if you go out in the evenings or once you make friends see if there heading the same way home as you.

I'm here too. Another thing is to try and keep your money in a discreet place and be very alert, while still looking like u don't give a damn, generally you get left alone if u act like u belong.

I have another question concerning the bus drive in Rome: Which ticket is the best one to buy? (I stay for 4 weeks) And can I take luggage with me into the bus? Do I have to pay for it? I have soooo many questions

don't know about bus from airport to Rome, u need to be more specific about where u land, and where u r going! While u r in Rome, if u intend to travel on the bus/metro everyday it is worth getting a monthly ticket... I think they are around 30-40 something euro, but I don't know!

Depends on what airport u come from campino theres a bus that goes into central rome called terra vision i think the ticket are 4-8 euros. http://www.terravision.eu/

If your coming from the bigger airport just outside Rome then theres a train you can get from there to the centre but i dont know how expensive it is.
