Hi there,

I've just registered here. I've lived in Rome for 7 years, have a darling 2 1/2 year old daughter, and am expecting #2 in October. I'm looking forward to meeting you other mommies.

Two questions:
1) Can anyone remind me of the address to the Roma Mamma site?

2) Has anyone had a VBAC here in Rome? My current OBGYN (Dr. Naumann) sounds kind of conservitive about it. Would love to get in touch with someone who's had one in Rome and get the name of your doctor. Thanks!

Ciao,

Heather

Hello Heather,

and welcome to the forum.

Would like to help you about the VBAC but nobody I know had it.
Based on my experience, in Italy if you get a caesarian for the first delivery you usually have another
one for all the following deliveries.

Most obgyns are rather conservative on this point. But keep trying, I think you have the right to chose
the way you want to give birth to your baby.
