holliday????

i was wondering if any of you got some nice tips for me.

we want to go on holliday the end of june begining of july.
but in italie.
we dont have a car.

last year we went with the train to tropea.but the train trip was 6hours with a child of 2years.

so i dont want to travel this year 6hours.

we like to be near the sea.
a app.
that does not cost to much.
and not to much traveling.

we live in rome.

anybody got some idea's???'

We get a lot of Romans here in Abruzzo/Marche!

It's not too crazy (until August of course), the water's gorgeous, and the prices are very good for seaside (comparitively).

The train's a bit tricky, as it probably wouldn't be direct, depending on where, but it wouldn't be a very long journey.

You might go to Costa degli Etruschi (Tuscany).

Not too far (about three hours by train from Rome), nice long beach with a pine wood just behind
(which is fabulous for a nappy in the hottest hours).

Main village on the coast is San Vincenzo.

As everywhere else in Italy is very crowded on August, but lovely in June and September.
