hello everyone! one of my new years resolutions is to settle more into italy and go to the doctor here instead of waiting until i go back to america to take care of these things.. soo.. i need to fine a gynecologist for my yearly pap exam.. how has your experience been and i know most everyones from rome but any suggesstions? how much is it? ect ect? I am most grateful for the info since my boyfriend is n help on this one affraid

I have been once to a gyno here at a specialist place near where we live she was really nice it wasnt scary at all althought it was a bit expensive if i remember right. She let my BF stay in the room as translator but your italian is better than mine so you should be fine Very Happy

I had a check up wioth a gyno, incl scan and paid 100euro. I paid 20 for the pap test. I saw another gyno who asked 60 for a visit...so I guess it varies.
IHave u got a consultorio near you? They should do it for free I think. They also also follow pregnancies etc..

ok that sounds about right...i thought the visit may be around 80EU i wasnt sure how it worked..if that was covered under the public health care or just a specialist thing.. I will start looking around after befana...
