Baby Lima Beans in Cream

1 Baby Lima Beans in Cream on 26th October 2009, 5:16 pm

•16 ounces frozen baby Lima beans
•1/2 to 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
•1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons butter
•salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation:
Cook the Lima beans in boiling salted water as directed on package. I sometimes add about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of sugar to the cooking water.
Drain well. Add the cream and butter. Taste and add salt and pepper as desired. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot.
Serves 4 to 6.
