what genre is it? I don't get to choose my books, expats in my area pass them to me, but it certainly has broadened my reading. I'm just fniishing 'Half of a Yellow Sun' by Chimanmanda Ngozi Adichie (phew!) It is a fictional story set in Nigeria in the 60's during the civil wars. It's a good read...would recommend it.

It's about a man named Jack Reacher, who was bumming around the US after leaving the Army. He gets arrested for murder and it turns out the murdered fellow was his brother. So now he's trying to figure out who is the murderer(s). I guess it's a thriller.

Sounds entertaining. I don't like to stick to the same genre all the time as I get bored...I find some authors can be a bit formulaic too, once you start to see the joins it spoils the pleasure.
