Does anyone have any information about the International School in Florence? Apart from being hugely expensive I can find out little about how happy the children are or how well educated. Any hints gratefully received.

I can't give u any tips about Florence schools. But I can say that I am not entirely convinced it is worth spending the money. Is it absolutely necessary that they go to an English speaking school? There are for example private Italian schools that cost much less. Although again I can't recommend anything in Forence....food for thought though.... Laughing

Dear Lizzie - Thanks for your reply - our children are twins of nine and a 5 year old. The twins are dyslexic and have struggled to acheive their current reading and writing skills - I am worried whether being educated in a foreign language ( for now) would not be too difficult and very demoralising for them. Hoe old are your kids? Are they Italian speakers and in Italian Schools?
best wishes
