Hi, I have been living it Italy for more than 5 years now and have only just found this website. I am living in Aosta Valley which is beautiful but very isolated and there are very few English spekaing people. So I really just wanted the opportunity to make some friends around Italy, (i don't expect near Aosta - but you never know) and be able to share experiences, highs and lows of living in Italy etc.....

Thanks. Already I have been reading some old posts and they have made me chuckle as I realise I am not alone in many of my thoughts about Italy... both positive and negative!

Hi Lyndaloo I too am an expat but living in Friuli north
-east but I do know Aosta and how lovely it is. Don't know if
if we can advertise other sites but there is an English
woman living in your area. I also have an old friend who
lives in Valtournenche. Do you ski? Let me know I'll send you the details

advertising other sites is fine if it gives useful info or leads to making new friends, information sharing is the Key to a happy expats site!
